Melwood is convening the private and public sectors, researchers, nonprofits, accommodation experts, policymakers, legislators and Ability One Nonprofit Agencies (NPAs) to discuss the advancement of neurodiverse employment. Given COVID-19’s impact on the economy and the way we do business, this Conference will examine the hiring state of play, the policy and legislative changes to further advance employment opportunities and explore the adaptations being made during these unprecedented times. The Conference series will also cover recruiting, training, employing, accommodating and retaining neurodiverse talent and injured veterans.
The Series will have two areas of focus:
1) the 3rd Annual JWOD Legal & Policy Symposium which addresses the AbilityOne contracting world and
2) the 2020 Neurodiverse Employment Summit which covers employment in all sectors—public, private and AbilityOne.
Attendees can choose which sessions best suit their interest.
All sessions are FREE and are eligible for SHRM credits.
All sessions held from 1PM-2PM EST.
Melwood is recognized by SHRM to offer SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP professional development credits (PDCs). Each of the events in the Neurodiverse Employment Conference: Breaking Workforce Barriers is valid for 1 PDC.
