Dear Melwood Family,
I invite you to take a moment on Veteran’s Day, Monday, November 11, to show appreciation for the many veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country. Melwood is proud to employ several decorated veterans and wounded warriors.
We live in a country where we often take our daily freedoms and opportunities for granted. If you have a neighbor, a family member, a co-worker who is a veteran, please take a moment to thank them for their service.
On Veteran’s Day, and throughout the year, we will continue to honor the men and women who have demonstrated bravery and courage and who embody the spirit and ideals for which our country was founded. In defense of liberty, these individuals have crossed oceans; fought on rocky shores and hillsides; defended towns and villages; risked and, in many cases lost, their lives so that we may all live free. Our debt to them can never be repaid.
Please join me in saluting and thanking our veterans and their families.
