Board Holiday Social

Melwood celebrated another successful year with a Board Holiday Social at MGM National Harbor. Melwood President and CEO, Cari DeSantis, and Melwood Board Chair, George Watkins, welcomed roughly 100 Melwood executives, donors, congressional members, vendors and board members for a fun-filled night of reflection and appreciation.  The event featured delicious refreshments and music by the Grant Izmirlian Saxophonist trioas attendees learned more about our organization. Each corner of the room showcased one of Melwood’s many programs and services, as well as  personal testimonies on Melwood’s impact. In all, our festive holiday social was an ideal event for our supporters to celebrate the season, directly connect to our mission and better understand the beneficiaries of their generosity.
