UPPER MARLBORO, Md., December 14, 2018 – As one of the nation’s largest employers of people of differing abilities, Melwood is pleased to announce Cindy Miley, MBA, CPA, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Cindy brings to Melwood more than 20 years of financial expertise acquired through her work at organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, General Dynamics, LafargeHolcim, Magellan Federal, and her own financial consulting firm, CFO Solutions, LLC.
Cindy will be responsible for the oversight and management of more than $100M in yearly finances and will be instrumental in developing financial strategies that will allow Melwood to continue to grow and evolve with the needs of those we serve.
Cindy received an MBA from the College of William & Mary and a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University. Cindy is passionate about giving back to the community and serves on several boards, including Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN), the George Mason University Women in Business, and the College of William and Mary Society 1918.
