This month the participants in Melwood’s Horticulture Therapy program teamed up to spread holiday cheer at the Dower House campus. On November 20th, they surprised staff members with a gift from their 2015 Gourd Project.
For several months program participants assisted in the growing process and providing daily care. They were very excited to see the final product and share them with the employees.
Also on November 20th, Melwood held their annual Thanksgiving luncheon for the people we serve at each of our program locations. Catered by Boston Market, attendees shared the things they were most 'thankful for' this year during the family-style meal. The rooms were filled with music, great food and lots of laughter.
