President & CEO Cari DeSantis paid a visit to Congressman John Sarbanes and his Legislative Director, Raymond O’Mara on February 25th. The meeting was held at the Congressman’s Washington D.C. office where Ms. DeSantis updated him on Melwood’s employment programs and supportive services.
Congressman Sarbanes represents Maryland's 3rd Congressional District, which is comprised of portions of Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County and Montgomery County. The Congressman supports initiatives that provide more support to our veterans, protect the environment, expand the number of available jobs and restore the nation’s economic competitiveness.
