E-Recycling Certification

Melwood’s Electronics Recycling Solutions program recently obtained three of the leading national certifications in the electronics recycling industry! We have officially secured the Responsible Recycling (R2) Standard, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 certifications. We earned the certifications after completing a two-stage audit process that focused on worker health and safety, security, environmental management, and the downstream management of recycled electronic material. With these endorsements, Melwood’s Dower House campus is now officially designated as a secure facility for the destruction of sensitive data. These certifications provide an opportunity for Melwood to further advance business development efforts into government, military and corporate sectors where auditing and secure data destruction are paramount.
