Many thanks to the technicians at Fort Meade for your dedicated support to Melwood! The team got together and raised over $500.00 for the Vocational Support Department's food pantry. The food pantry was created to lend a helping hand to our persons with disabilities in their times of need.
The team now plans on making a bi-monthly donation to the food pantry. Those interested in donating items to the food pantry should bring all items to the Vocational Support Department located at 5606 Dower House Road, Upper Marlboro, M.d. 20772. Once on campus you should come to the Administration building where you will be directed to Vocational Support. Items needed are as follows: canned fruits & vegetables, pastas, body lotion, shampoo, combs & brushes, canned soups, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant and any other non-perishable food items.
