UPPER MARLBORO, MD., May 11, 2017 — Cari DeSantis, President & CEO of Melwood, is proud to announce the selection of Chief Financial Officer, Myron Thomas, to the 2017 Trending 40 Association and Non-Profit Finance Leader list.
Trending 40 is an editorial and event series produced by DCA Live that honors top business, finance, technology, and legal talent in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. Since 2014, more than 800 exceptional leaders from the D.C. region’s fastest growing companies and non-profits have been honored.

Mr. Thomas is responsible for the oversight and management of Melwood’s financial and strategic planning affairs. He brings more than 20 years of operational, consultative, and entrepreneurial experience ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Thomas obtained his Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, his Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Science from Florida A&M University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Valuation Analyst, Chartered Global Management Accountant and a Six Sigma Greenbelt. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and the Washington, D.C. chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
