Melwood offers a number of career opportunities to people of differing abilities. Find your new career here.
On April 10, Melwood hosted its second Operation: Tohidu® program of the year. This five-day program is reserved specifically for veterans to share common experiences and discover new ways to cope with unresolved trauma. Tohidu a Cherokee word meaning peace of mind, body, and spirit.
Nine brave warfighters spent the week demonstrating a true commitment to the program and their recovery. Reflection, inspiration, and compassion carried this group to success and a special bond was formed amongst all who participated. Each victory, whether in the classroom or during an outdoor experience, was a group victory.
Melwood remains committed to pursuing programs that help to empower veterans and their families. We recently developed Melwood Veteran Services (MVS), a newly formed non-profit organization under the Melwood umbrella, to create a diverse range of services to support veteran employment, career development, and community integration.
