PSA Insurance and Financial Services, and Construction Risk Solutions Pledge their Support to Operation: Tohidu

UPPER MARLBORO, MD (November 9, 2015) – PSA Insurance and Financial Services (PSA), and Construction Risk Solutions (CRS) renewed their commitment to Melwood’s mission with a donation in support of the organization’s newest program, Operation: Tohidu. PSA and CRS have pledged $35,000 towards the program designed specifically for veterans and active duty military members who have been formally diagnosed or are self-reporting with PTS(d), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), anxiety, depression, or other deployment related trauma. Both companies have been longtime supporters of Melwood’s mission. In 2013 they pledged $50,000 in support of Melwood’s 50th Anniversary. The new gift will support the program, which is offered at no cost to its participants.

“The generous donation from PSA and CRS will grant 10 veterans and active duty military members the opportunity to begin their journey to recovery.” said President and CEO of Melwood, Cari DeSantis. “It is our way of thanking our war fighters for their service to our nation and we thank you for assisting us in this effort.”
