Rotary Club of Lexington Park, Maryland

Last month, Melwood presented an Operation: Tohidu briefing at The Rotary Club of Lexington Park, Maryland. Members gathered to learn more details about the program and its tremendous impact on warfighters living with post-traumatic stress.

 On hand for the event were Vice President of External Affairs, Robert Grom; Operation: Tohidu Clinical Director, Mary Neal Vieten, Ph.D., ABPP, and Operation: Tohidu Senior Mentor and Presenter, Matt Scassero (and former Senior Vice President of Melwood). During the briefing, Mr. Scassero received a special award from Rotary Club President, Bob Merritts, recognizing his service to veterans. It was another great opportunity for Melwood to build awareness for the program and garner additional support.

Rotary Clubs are international service organizations that look to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide a number of humanitarian services. The Rotary Club of Lexington Park supports charities, provides scholarships to local students and supports many organizations in the community… including Operation: Tohidu.
