There’s still time for you to participate in our upcoming fundraiser in partnership with the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO)!
Each year, SMECO hosts an annual 75-mile bike ride in support of local charities and non-profit community-based organizations. This year’s event is set for June 4th. All proceeds from the ride will go to Melwood for support of Operation: Tohidu.
We are organizing a team to ride in the event and searching for sponsors. The $40 bike ride features a 75-, 47-, or 29-mile ride elements through Southern Maryland along portions of the scenic Three Notch Trail. If you’re interested in participating in any of the above rides, please contact Michaela Fralen by April 29th h at MFralen@Melwood.org.
