Kevin Haggerty serves as Melwood’s Interim Chief Financial Officer. Kevin will draw upon more than 40 years of experience to lead Melwood’s Finance Team. His areas of experience and expertise include compliance, accounting, finance, ERP systems implementation, government contracting and international operations in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
Kevin oversees the Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Contracts and Procurement divisions at Melwood.
Prior to Melwood, Kevin was Chief Financial Officer at DAI and ACDIVOCA, both International Development organizations contracting with the US Government in addition to other governments and organizations on foreign assistance projects around the world. In addition, Kevin was Chief Financial Officer of IIE, an international education organization, which, among other contracts, manages the Fulbright Scholarship Program for the US Government.
Kevin holds a Master of Accounting degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian History from Amherst College. He is a native of the Washington DC area where he resides with his spouse of over 40 years.
