When Connor's parents first received their son’s diagnosis they were given a packet of materials with information on how to manage their son’s treatment and a list of programs that may be of interest to them and their son. Among the packet was information on Camp Accomplish. At the time Connor’s parents had a lot of new information to review so they didn’t initially sign him up. It was only after a friend recommended the camp that they decided to give it a try. Connor now attends Camp Accomplish each summer. He also takes riding lessons throughout the year and recently joined Melwood's Unified Trail team this past fall. Connor's favorite parts of the program are the horseback riding and swimming lessons. His parents love the staff and counselors who they say truly create a positive and energetic environment for their son to enjoy.
